Please follow the steps below to guide you through booking your installation date, completing your online home survey and getting ready for your install day. Please note if you have purchased any of our packages with the finance option please ensure your finance has been accepted prior to continuing.
Step 1: Please check you have purchased any required additions:

Step 2: Choose your installation date and time and complete your online home survey:

Home Survey Notes:
The home survey is designed to give us an overview of what you require for your install. We ask 5 simple questions which we also ask you to support with photos. Please see below a quick guide to each question and the type of image we require:
Question 1: What Type of Property Do You Live In?
Please select from the dropdown and support with a clear picture of the front of your property, example below:
Question 2: Please Describe Where You Would Like Your Charger To Be Installed (e.g. Garage, Outside Wall of Your Property, Other Wall such as Garden Wall, etc
Please explain where you would like your charger and supply an image to show this. Please ensure the photo is taken from a distance so we can clearly see its position in relation to your driveway, parking area, or surrounding features.
Question 3: Please Describe Where Your Fuse Box (also know as Consumer Unit) Is Located In Your Property
Take a photo of your consumer unit with the cover open. Example: A clear image showing all circuit breakers inside the unit.
Question 4: Please Upload a Picture of Your Fuse Box (Consumer Unit) With Any Covers Open
Take a photo of your electricity meter along with the nearby isolator switch or fuse (if present). Example: A close-up shot showing your electricity meter and the surrounding area
Step 3: Await your install and advise us of any changes
Prior to installation you will receive email and text reminders. If you wish to rearrange your appointment you can do this online or within 24 hours please call us on: 07368 625 382. If we receive cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment, or we can’t get access to the property on the day of installation, you may be subject to a failed installation charge.
Our installation team will contact you when they are on the way to your home and contact you if they are running late or have any issues. We attend over 95% of our installation within 30 mins of the pre-booked time, however, certain uncontrolable factors such as extreme weather or unforeseen traffic incidents can lead to delayed or rearrange installations. We will keep you informed of any issues.
Srep 4: Installation Day
Our installations teams are 1 or 2 man teams and always include at least 1 fully qualified, experienced electrician. When our team arrive they should be wearing branded clothing and have genuine Orca ID. They may not always be in Orca branded vehicles as we do use some self employed electricians but these will always be experienced EV installers and follow our high standards of work.
When they arrive the senior team member will introduce themselves and look at the property and discuss the installation with you. Please feel free to discuus any concerns and our guys will let you know any difficulties they envisage.
The first step of the installation is to plan the route of the cable and drill the hole through the exterior wall. We then fit the charger and cable and then finally connect the wires to the mains box. At this point we will need to turn the power off for up to 60 mins. Once the install is complete we will commission the charger and fully explain how the charger works. Our guys will do any finishing / additional works and should leave your property clean and tidy. Our electrician will issue the test certificate before our team leaves and this will be emailed to you.
