Which Installation Package is Right For You?
At Orca, again we are trying to keep it simple with our fixed priced installation packages; Premium, Standard and Basic. All our pacakages include high quality installation by a fully qualified electrician, and include the charger of your choice, but which one is right for you? By answering a couple of quick questions you can quickly ascertain which is right for you.
Would you like your charger to be fitted within 3-5 working days?
With our Premium Package we reserve priority install days and can usually complete your install withing 3-5 working days from placing your order and any finance being confirmed.
Would you like your charger to be fitted in a specific location?
With our Premium Package you get up to 10 meters of cabeling from your consumer unit or meter box to your desired charger location. This is reduced to 5m with our standard package and 1m with our basic package.
Would you like your charger to be connected to a dedicated consumer unit?
With our Premium and Standard Package we connect your EV Charger through a new, dedicated consumer unit. This means you can easily isolate the charger, add surge protection and don’t require spare ways in your existing unit.
Would you like the protection of a surge protection device being fitted?
Installed between your charger and the incoming power supply, a surge protection device protects the charger against unexpected power surges from the grid, which can be caused by lightning strikes, power outages and other events. Only included in our Premium Package.
Would you like the security of a free home survey if required?
With our Premium Package a full home survey is included in the cost, if required.
If you have answered yes to 1 or more of the above questions than our Premium Package or Standard Package is for you. For all the above and for full peace of mind and a hassle free installation we would definately reccomend you to go for the Premium Package which is still great value for money and avoids many additional costs that other, less honest companies fail to disclose until the day of install.
